Every rating on Click Tracking Guide comes from the same method, so you can compare tools fairly and see exactly what our scores mean.
What Our Reviews Are Based On
- The vendor's official product pages, documentation and knowledge base
- Official pricing pages, checked on the date shown on each page
- Published policies: trial, refund and terms
- Listed integrations with ad platforms, checkouts and affiliate networks
- Independent sources and public user feedback, where relevant
Our reviews are research-based. We don't claim hands-on testing unless a page says so explicitly, and we don't publish fabricated screenshots, testimonials or performance figures.
Scoring Criteria
| Criterion | Weight | What we look at |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking & attribution | 30% | First-party tracking, cross-device, attribution models, offline and phone sales |
| Ad platform support | 20% | Native integrations, cost import, conversion syncing |
| Value & pricing transparency | 20% | Published prices, trial, what's included at each tier |
| Ease of setup | 15% | Setup steps, documentation, onboarding support |
| Scalability | 15% | Volume limits, team and account limits, enterprise options |
Each criterion is scored out of 100. The weighted total is converted to a rating out of 5. Ratings reflect fit for our core audience, small and mid-sized advertisers who buy traffic, so a tool built for enterprise media buyers may score lower here while being excellent for its own audience.
How We Handle Vendor Claims
When a vendor makes a claim we can't verify independently, such as an accuracy percentage, a user count or a claim about a competitor, we attribute it to the vendor ("ClickMagick claims…") rather than stating it as fact.
Keeping Reviews Current
Pages that show prices carry a "pricing last verified" date. We aim to recheck vendor pricing monthly and update pages when products change. See our editorial policy.
