ClickMagick Review: The Short Verdict
ClickMagick is an ad tracking and attribution platform that shows which ads, links and traffic sources actually produce your leads and sales. It started in 2014 as a simple link tracker and has grown into a full attribution tool built around first-party tracking on your own domain.
If you buy traffic from Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok or solo-ad vendors and you no longer trust what the ad platforms report, ClickMagick is one of the most complete options for small teams. Plans start at $79 a month, there's a 14-day free trial, and every plan includes conversion syncing back to the ad platforms.

How we score ClickMagick (out of 100)
What Is ClickMagick and How Does It Work?
ClickMagick, Inc. is a Houston, Texas company founded by Patrick Kelly, who says he has been building click-tracking tools since 1996. The company calls its core technology TrueTracking® and positions it as a "single source of truth" for ad data.
The problem it solves is familiar to anyone running paid traffic. Ad platforms now miss or misreport a large share of conversions because of browser privacy rules, ad blockers, iOS tracking opt-outs and people switching devices. ClickMagick claims ad platforms misattribute or miss 25–50% of conversions. Whatever the exact figure for your account, the gap between what Facebook reports and what your payment processor shows is real for most advertisers. Our guide to Facebook ads tracking after iOS 14 explains why.
The tracking flow, step by step
Because the script runs on your own custom tracking domain and uses first-party cookies with no redirects, ClickMagick states it is not blocked by iOS. It then sends conversion data back to platforms like Meta and Google in real time, so their algorithms can optimize toward real buyers instead of guesses.
Key ClickMagick Features
TrueTracking and multi-touch attribution
TrueTracking is the core engine. It includes a custom tracking domain, a randomized script loader designed to avoid ad blockers, cross-device tracking and full visitor profiles. On Standard and Pro you also get advanced attribution models, so you can compare first-click, last-click and multi-touch views of the same campaigns. If attribution models are new to you, our practical guide to marketing attribution explains the differences.
Audience Optimization (Conversions API syncing)
Audience Optimization™ sends conversions back to your ad platforms as they happen. It works like the Facebook Conversions API, but across several networks at once. You can optimize for opt-ins, add-to-carts, sales or custom events, and it's included on every plan, including Starter. For the background, see our Facebook Conversions API explainer.
Native ad platform integrations
ClickMagick connects directly to Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X Ads and ChatGPT Ads. It pulls ad costs every hour, so ROAS and profit numbers stay current. Other networks such as Taboola, Outbrain and RevContent connect through webhooks.
Click Shield and bot filtering
Every plan filters basic bot traffic. From Standard upward you get full bot and click-fraud protection, including Click Shield™, which syncs a blacklist of bad clickers to your Google and Microsoft ad accounts so you stop paying for them. ClickMagick claims it filters 99% of bot and fake clicks; treat that as the vendor's figure.
Smart Links, rotators and split testing
The original link-tracking tools are still here. Smart Links let you build tracking links and rotators, which matter for affiliate promotions and solo ads. Dynamic Affiliate Links pass tracking data through to affiliate networks, and built-in split testing lets you compare landing pages or offers. Our ClickMagick solo ads tutorial walks through that workflow.
Reports
Real-time stats cover EPC, conversion rate, average order value, lifetime value, ROAS and net profit. Dedicated reports include UTM Performance, Conversion Velocity (how long sales take to arrive after a click), Lifetime Value cohorts and Funnel Steps.
Insights and Morning Magick (AI)
The newest addition is Insights, delivered as a daily "Morning Magick™" email that tells you which ads to scale, fix or pause. It's included on all plans, capped at 10, 25 or 50 active ads depending on your tier.
Phone and offline sales tracking
On Standard and Pro you can tie phone calls and offline sales back to the ad that started them. That's useful for coaches who close on sales calls and for local businesses.
Works with your stack
ClickMagick works with Shopify, WooCommerce, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Kajabi and WordPress, among others, and offers an API, Zapier access and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Above one million visitors a month, ClickMagick offers custom pricing. It has also said it is gradually raising prices while letting existing customers keep their current rate.
Which plan should you choose?
- Starter fits if you run ads to one site and stay under 10,000 tracked visitors a month. That covers most new affiliates and solo-ad buyers.
- Standard is the step up when you need click-fraud protection on Google or Microsoft Ads, phone or offline sales tracking, advanced attribution models, or help from a couple of team members.
- Pro fits agencies and teams that need many ad accounts, unlimited users or up to a million tracked visitors.
Free Trial, Refunds and Coupons
Free trial: ClickMagick offers a 14-day free trial to anyone who hasn't had an account in the past six months.
Refunds: The official refund policy gives a 30-day money-back guarantee on tracking subscriptions, limited to your first account. Two details matter: Insights subscriptions are not refundable once the trial ends, and the founder's "Our Magick" page mentions a 45-day guarantee. Because those differ, check the current terms when you sign up.
Coupons: ClickMagick says plainly that there are no coupons. Pages advertising ClickMagick coupon codes aren't official. The real discount is yearly billing, which works out to two months free.
ClickMagick Pros and Cons
Pros
- First-party tracking on your own domain, designed to survive iOS opt-outs and ad blockers
- Conversion syncing to seven ad platforms on every plan
- Strong tools for affiliates and solo ads: rotators, split tests, dynamic affiliate links
- Flat, published pricing instead of sales calls and custom quotes
- Phone and offline sales attribution on Standard and Pro
- 14-day free trial and a money-back guarantee
- Knowledge base of 500+ articles, plus an onboarding call on Standard
Cons
- 10,000 visitors a month on Starter fills up quickly once ads scale
- Click-fraud protection and advanced attribution require Standard ($199/mo)
- Starter allows only one site and one ad account per platform
- Advanced features take time to learn properly
- Insights is non-refundable after the trial
- Prices have been rising over time
- Not built for media buyers running many millions of clicks
Who Should Use ClickMagick (and Who Should Skip It)
A strong fit for
- Affiliate marketers sending paid traffic to offers who need to know which ads produce commissions. See tracking for affiliate marketers.
- Solo-ad buyers who need to spot bot clicks and judge vendors on real opt-ins. See our solo ads tracking guide.
- Coaches, course creators and info-product sellers running Meta and YouTube funnels, especially with sales calls.
- Small ecommerce stores on Shopify or WooCommerce that want ad-level ROAS they can trust.
- Small agencies that need client reporting across several ad accounts.
Probably not the right fit if
- You buy very high volumes of traffic. Trackers built for large media-buying operations, like RedTrack or Voluum, may suit you better. See ClickMagick vs RedTrack.
- You run only a Shopify store and mainly want a profit dashboard. A Shopify-focused tool may be simpler.
- You just want short links and click counts. A link shortener costs less.
How ClickMagick Compares

ClickMagick also makes several claims about Hyros on its own comparison page, so read our independent ClickMagick vs Hyros comparison before deciding.
