Click Tracking Guide is an independent publication about click tracking, ad tracking and conversion attribution. We write for people who buy their own traffic: affiliates, solo-ad buyers, coaches and course creators, small ecommerce stores and small agencies.
Why We Exist
If you search for a tracking tool today, many of the "best tracker" and "alternatives" pages you'll find are written by competing software vendors about their own products, and many independent reviews quote prices that are years out of date. We started Click Tracking Guide to give buyers current, plainly written information and an honest view of who each tool is and isn't for.
What We Cover
- ClickMagick: reviews, pricing and setup guides
- Comparisons: head-to-heads and alternatives
- Best software: shortlists by use case
- Use cases: solo ads, affiliates, Facebook ads after iOS 14
- Learn: attribution, UTM parameters and conversion APIs
Independence and How We Make Money
We're reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to ClickMagick and Hyros, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. That never decides what we write: we cover competitors honestly, attribute vendor claims to the vendor, and say when another tool is the better fit. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by any company we review. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
How We Research
Our reviews are based on vendors' published documentation, pricing pages, policies and integrations, plus independent research. We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done. See how we review and our editorial policy.
